The CA Ocean Protection Council, in cooperation with the California Ocean Science Trust, recently released its Ocean Acidification Action Plan, which articulates a 10-year vision for addressing ocean acidification and a series of pragmatic actions to work towards that vision. Among other things, the plan encourages aquaculture – where appropriate – to offset current and anticipated impacts of ocean acidification.
